Eric
During my recent business trip to Madalena in the Azores, my director chose Baia Da Barca Aparthotel for our accommodation. And let me tell you, it was a fantastic choice.
We visited in April, and although the weather was not yet warm, the flat lacked heating, except in the bedroom.

The apartment at Baia Da Barca was absolutely breathtaking! The panoramic sea and mountain views made me feel like I was one with nature. The spaciousness and cozy fireplace in the living room created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The complete bathroom and well-equipped kitchen added convenience to my stay. As a long-term business traveler, this was the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Personally, I would have preferred a different color scheme in the apartment. But hey, that's just my taste!

The apartments were super clean, big and comfortable. Great views of the coast and especially Mt Pico
It's not intuitive to find initially despite the fact it is only 600 meters from the ferry.

Stunning Views, Huge Rooms, Delicious Breakfast, Attentive Staff
We loved this hotel by the sea! The view from our room was breathtaking and the rooms themselves were very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety. The staff were friendly and always attentive to our needs. We enjoyed lounging by the gorgeous pools and saunas.
Our stay in this city was too brief. We wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the hotel's amenities and explore the area further.

We had a lovely view of the mountaintop from our apartment at Baia Da Barca. The location is amazing, just a short distance from the ocean. The apartment itself was nice and huge, providing plenty of space for relaxation. The natural seawater pool was a beautiful addition, although it required some effort to access during low tide. The inclusion of a kitchen allowed us to enjoy our own breakfast, adding to the convenience and comfort of our stay. I highly recommend Baia Da Barca for a tranquil and great accommodation experience.

We enjoyed stunning views from our apartment and appreciated the spaciousness of it. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay which made it even better. the location was spot on, close to the sea and within walking distance of some local bars and restaurants.
The building was quite old and outdated, and some of the furniture was unpleasant. we felt that the price was higher compared to the quality of the accommodation and services, so we weren't completely satisfied with our stay.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. the location is simply breathtaking. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, with the ocean stretching out in front of you. It was such a treat to wake up to that every morning. Also, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of a fantastic bar and grill, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals and drinks without having to travel far.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The facilities and services offered here are excellent, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travelers.

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The staff were professional and friendly, especially Ana who went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and a lovely mountain backdrop. We loved sitting on the stone sofa, watching the sunset and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. The hotel offers a range of amenities and services including a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were well equipped with all the necessary amenities including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of fresh baked goods and a great selection of food. This is a great place for families, and we highly recommend it.

We stayed at a hotel that was in a great spot- right by the stunning coast. The place was a no fuss 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre. The ocean views were absolutely incredible - we couldn't get enough of it! , the facilities were very clean and well kept including a sauna and pool.
The service was lacking and breakfast could have been better.

Spent Easter here and loved it! The apartment offered an incredible view of the ocean, which made for some unforgettable sunsets. The swimming pool was also lovely, clean and perfect for an afternoon dip. The location was excellent - just a short walk from the local village and all its amenities, plus car parking was available on site.
One small downside was that the apartment was a bit chilly in the evenings, as there was no heating apart from in the bedroom. the surroundings lacked a little charm as the site was previously a brownfield area.
Tourists from New Zealand often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
